“Mastering Workplace Happiness”
Tips and tools on how to garner emotional intelligence at the workplace.
This webinar will be hosted by Mindy Tulsi-Ingram Chief Gift Officer of Green & Green Gifts with Flair, a Vancouver based company for over 27 years specializing in corporate gifts & milestone programs and a member of the Vancouver Executives Association. A marketer with a double major in Economics and Communications from Simon Fraser University, Mindy has perfected the art of strengthening business relationships through the supremacy of appreciation. Her husband Steve is her business partner and their wonderful son Aaron is studying environmental engineering at the University of British Columbia.
Mastering Workplace Happiness emerged from her Abundance in a Box project. She describes Abundance in a Box as “capturing what is delicious in your daily life, savoring deeply happy experiences, and finding a way to monetize them before paying that positive energy forward.” Abundance in a Box works like this: when something wonderful occurs in your daily life, you write down the experience and add it to the box along with a monetary contribution, called a “joy deposit.” After you collect a specified number of joy deposits, you apply the money to a good deed of your choosing, such as donating to a charity, taking a friend out for lunch, or mowing a neighbor’s lawn. Tulsi-Ingram notes, “When you monetize an experience in this way, you extend the happiness of that moment. It’s an opportunity for you to ‘capture your good.’”
