YOUR NAME:
Sue Voyles
COMPANY NAME:
Logos Communications Inc.
CLASSIFICATION:

What makes you good at what you do?
I am a natural born promoter and storyteller. I am trained, and have worked, as a journalist, so I know how to pitch clients to the media.
"Why" do you do what you do (what is your "Why")
I enjoy hearing and telling the compelling stories of businesses and individuals.
How long have you been a member of your Association?
Since 2012
What benefits do you receive from being a member of your association?
Connections to other business owners for business, introductions, mentoring and advice. Also belonging to a group that is celebrating its 90th year in 2016 reminds me that networking never loses its value.
What is the biggest value you receive from being a member of your association?
For me, it’s all about the people. Our group is very social, outgoing and just plain fun.
Which IEA association would you like to visit and why?
Vancouver. I hear it’s beautiful there and since I am a huge hockey fan, I feel that I probably have an affinity with Canadians.
Which three words would you use to describe yourself?
Friendly, Energetic, Positive
Why are you proud to be a member of your association?
With a 90 year history, we are a group that contributes to the business fabric of the metro Detroit area and its rich heritage of entrepreneurship.
What makes your association unique? For example, what do you tell a prospective member?
While there are many groups in our area that offer business networking, the DEA is the only one I know of that is only composed of business owners and high level decision makers. Being able to access these executives is invaluable.
