Did you know that your association and you are members of the IEA?

An appointed legal counsel and historian sit in advisory positions but do not vote. Board meetings are held annually at the International Conference and mid-year.

The IEA office operates with an Experienced and paid Executive Director who knows the needs of the Member Associations, and the challenges facing Executive Directors & the board of Directors. The IEA also offers access to the best practices data on Board Governance and Association Management issues as well as access to answers on Membership Recruiting & Retention, Leads & Attendance Requirements, Association Surveys, etc.

An association must meet the criteria set forth in the IEA Bylaws to qualify for membership. The IEA currently consists of 42 associations located in the U.S., Canada, and Great Britain.
